My Bio
Valerie Ashley is an eclectic bohemian who sculpts, drinks coffee and lives in the woods of Rhode Island.
She sculpts figurative and fantasy art, paints, loves music, live theater, independent films & BOOKS! Free time usually finds her in bookstores, art supply shops, antique stores, or lying on her back looking at the stars.
She lives with a "feral furball" that tolerates her, a 15 year old U2, and a Neanderthal.

She prefers to be outdoors, in the woods, on a mountain, sitting by a fire, and far away from concrete, cities and people.

I joined Deviant about 5 years ago and sadly let it sit.  Not being a computer person made it hard to juggle the "online" presences as well as do my art, take care of family, and well...just do everyday life.  I have worked to support myself via my art in the five years since leaving, and for the most part have been fairly successful... so with that I am back to Deviant once more. Thanks to those who've stopped by.  Thanks to those who are new.  I will be posting pics of pieces I've done over the last few years and will catch up with messages and such shortly.

Thank you! I spent time in your gallery and was blown away by your pieces. Beautiful work.
Hello Elysianfield! I just happened to stumble upon your profile while searching for other deviants who work with polymer clay. I'm really happy to have found you because there are not many whose works are as innovative as yours, I think.. At least I've never seen anything like your work before and I was amazed. Your work is very inspirational and wakes up so many emotions in me, as I appreciate and love nature very much myself too.
Btw, are you selling your art? Dunno why, but the link to your website didn't work and you haven't put any selling info to DA..
Anyway, fantastic job! Looking forward to see more from you! :>
